Canonical at CES, Las Vegas, 10th – 13th January 2012

, ,

Canonical will have a presence at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, from the 10th – 13th January. The booth, in the Upper Level of South Hall 4, is at location 35379 within the Las Vegas Convention Center.

On display will be the latest in Desktop, Cloud and demonstrations on Ubuntu One, plus an exclusive Ubuntu concept design which will be announced during the show.

Find out more by coming to visit us at CES and see why Ubuntu is the primary computing environment on millions of desktops around the world and used by thousands of businesses. You can also discover how Canonical supports a rapidly increasing number of manufacturers pre-installing Ubuntu on their hardware.

Sometimes people ask me to explain what “marketing” is all about.

Here it is in a nutshell: “Ubuntu, now the world’s third largest Desktop Operating System”

    Lovely :-)

But isn’t it about time it was the second? I am 72 and want to see it the first before I pop my clogs!

Spike TV will be broadcasting live from CES, it would be awesome if someone could reach out to them ahead of time and get them to stop by Canonical’s booth.

post the videos on youtube so we can see this awesome event, even if it’s not live!

  4. Awesome! Hope the live CES coverage from podcasters like TWiT will be there so I can watch

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say that you’ve done a excellent job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Safari. Superb Blog!

Canonical sounds like a fantastic event. I just try to not support the Las Vegas Convention Center because they send all of their telemarketing work to Canada! Support Nevada!

The Las Vegas Convention Center are your typical non patriotic American organization. They outsource all of their telemarketing to a Canadian owned call center, VoiceLogic. It’s a company run by a convicted embezzler and ex-murderer, Cesar Corriea. He killed his Dad in the 80′s. I’m American and I worked at VoiceLogic’s call center for a while. It made me sick to see them pay a Canadian owned call center all that $. America is in a recession. We need jobs in the U.S. Shame on The Las Vegas Convention Center for giving all those jobs away to a Canadian run company that’s run by a known convicted criminal.
